for our final day in mexico our flight didn't leave until the evening, but dan and renee's flight left at about 5am so we woke up around 2:30am to drop them off at the airport and then we found a random parking lot and slept in the car until the sun basically came up (or a cop car started circling in the lot haha). we then headed to cancun, found a beautiful beach, and slept on the beach… i can only imagine what everyone was thinking that passed us ha. then we went swimming and these pictures kind of crack me up because it was literally 7am.
after our morning swim, kenneth showed me one of his old mission areas. kenneth served all in this area for his 2 year mission for the church of jesus christ of latter day saints, so it was so awesome to hear him tell stories and really see a glimpse of what it was like for him for 2 years of his life. he lived in this little green house for 8 months.
this trip was so fun. i loved how spontanious the whole trip was and how we never had one set plan. it made for such an adventure!
