i have officially decided that i will attend byu-hawaii in the fall! i'm very excited yet completely terrified at the same time!

interesting facts:

*hawaii has 8 main islands: niihau, kauai, oahu, maui, molokai, lanai, kahoolawe, and hawaii (the big island)

*byu-hawaii is on the island oahu

*also on the island of oahu is the city honolulu

*from east to west, hawaii is the widest state in the u.s.

*there is a 5 hour time difference between here and there (5 hours behind)

*i will be living in the city laie

i hate college.

i thought the song was called "I Love College" ??

so i heard back from byu-utah and i got accepted... but to the summer semester. not the fall semester which i applied for. so basically, i would start 3 weeks after i graduate. not cool. i still haven't heard back from usc or uga. but i wont hear from them for awhile. i'm beyond ready to know where i'm going and have everything settled. but looks like right now it's a good chance i'll be attending byu-hawaii in the fall. too many feelings to describe.

its been awhile.

sorry it's been so long since i've written. i'm still alive! well let's see... what has been going on?

well a congrats goes out to my good friend michael stallings for getting into byu utah! i'm way excited for him! pretty jealous though because i want to know if i got in yet! i guess it pays off to have friends in the admissions department haha. but byu sent out an email the other day and i will find out this week if i get in or not! the latest by friday! wish me luck!

snow. snow. snow. and lots of it!

on friday we got lots of wonderful, gorgeous snow! and because of that wonderful snow, we got let out of school early which meant that i didn't have to take my ap econ test! everything good happens when it snows :) i spent the day with my friends. we went sledding, had a snowball fight, went in the hottub and just hung out!

pretend valentines day <3

seeing how this whole long distance thing goes, sometimes you have to switch things around haha. so ryan and i celebrated this day together by going out to dinner, going to the movies, and hanging out. such a wonderful night :) other people don't realize how hard it is to not see someone you love everyday. it's tough.

anddd ryan was sweet and let me drag him to see dear john! i've been dying to see it! and i loved it :) it hit close to home with the whole long distance thing, but i thought it was great!

valentines day <3

well since ryan had to leave that evening we only got to hang out for a few hours. but ill take that over anything any day! when i got home from church, i drove up to an arrangement of valentines day balloons tied to my mailbox! surprise :) ryan and i spent the afternoon making cookies, and just spending the time together! i love him <3

sick days.

i am not a morning person.

however, woke up bright and early to go retake my econ test... (the one that i did so great on before.. ha) but i was not feeling well so i stayed home today. normally sick days are sweet b.c you get to watch tv all day and hang out. no not this one. i worked on school stuff the entire day and i'm still not done. lame.

so this week is doppelganger week on facebook so everyone is changing their profile picture to a famous person that they look like. so i figured i would share some of my 'famous' friends.

whooo hooo! yay! found out last night that michael stallings got accepted to byu hawaii! i'm so happy because now if i decide to go, we could both hit up the beach together. me + one of my best friends + going to college in HAWAII = amazing. ahh i'm so ready to just hear back from all my colleges and know where i'm going! i feel like everyone already knows but me. but right now, hawaii is looking very nice.

-oahu, hawaii: currently sunny, warm, beautiful, and 77 degrees.

the good ole' days

i was looking through old pictures from last summer, oh how i miss it! i'm beyond ready for this semester to be done. i know i'm supposed to be "living up senior year" but honestly i just wish it could be over already. i'm not saying that i'm ready for the next step (college) but i'm definitely ready for the hot hot summer time!
