Skyview Atlanta

last week kenneth and i took a little date night to downtown atlanta and took a ride on the skyview ferris wheel. we got a groupon for it a few months ago and finally got around to using it. plus the groupon included a free box of chocolates upon arrival so obviously i was sold.
this is not what i think of when you say ferris wheel. it was so fancy! they had a bar, dj, tv's, and it was all set up so nicely. each little chair lift has music playing and they have ac/heat. we went as the sun was setting which made for a beautiful view.
^^it's right next to centennial olympic park (shout out to atl for hosting the olympics when i was 4 so i don't remember any of it).
kenneth and i have been all about mid-week dates lately and we're big fans of it. we enjoy beating the weekend crowds and it's nice to have something to look forward to instead of waiting for the weekend. i highly suggest it!
i'm not afraid of heights, but i was feeling a little squirmy at the very top and of course kenneth thought it funny to sway the seats we were in haha.
all and all it was fun. i don't think we'll do it again but it was worth it for the groupon and the free chocolates, can't forget the chocolates.
we treated ourselves to some fancy $5 pizza from little ceasers and crazy bread. i love that crazy bread, my weakness. can you tell this post is turning more into my food love than the actual ferris wheel? ha.
