Day 3 was spent in beautiful Jamaica!
We signed up for an excursion here, hiking Dunn River Falls. Kenneth and I sort of hate doing tours or really tourist things. We'd rather explore on our own, but with the time constraints of needing to get back to the ship by a certain time, it's just easier to book a tour through the ship so you don't have to worry about it.
Dunn River Falls may be super touristy, but it's definitely something you have to check out! It was so beautiful and really fun! We would sort of run off from our group and tour and explore a little on our own haha. At first our tour guides tried to get us to stay with the group, but by the end they were over it and just let us do our own thing haha.
So if you get a chance to come here, definitely take a break from your group and go explore on your own! We climbed all through the waterfalls instead of along the side and I'm so glad we explored it this way.
You definitely need to wear shoes. We wore water shoes we bought from Walgreens before we left for the cruise. And I would recommend wearing shorts or a tank top since you're hiking. But you will be 100% wet so also wear your swim suit! And of course bring a camera! So glad we had our go pro, but I wish I could have brought my nicer camera so you could really see how pretty it was
After the falls, our tour took us to a beautiful little beach that we got to relax and swim at before we headed back to the cruise ship!
